Definitely don't just ask, even if we don't want you to, no one is going to say no to your face, eye contact is kind of creepy, but if you do just go up behind her (what most people that I know do) make sure their is some kind of relationship going on. Not necessarily romantic, but if you don't really know her, or she's your best friend, thats kind of creeper.
