I moved in with my real father a few months ago and he told me that the house is built off the ground. It seems like my room is the only room in the entire house to get roaches. They crawl in from the crack of where the carpet meets the wall and i am terrified of bugs. I keep the room very clean, vacuum everyday, it seems like the spray that i spray at the crevice of my entire room only work for a little bit. Like the roach would crawl in and sometimes die or sometimes live. its a 50/50 chance with these guys. How can i get rid of them or stop them from only coming into MY room (and its the cleanest in the whole entire house!)? I just experienced a flying roach last night and i almost had a panic attack. i seriously have a huge fear on bugs and i need to stop this asap. any help please?Roaches and how to get rid of them?

Have you heard of Naphthalene flakes? It's like ground up moth balls.
You can buy it the hardware store. Sprinkle it around any place where you think those little buggers are getting in. They hate it.
If you can't get any, smear some Vicks in the same places.
You can also catch them, by using empty margarine containers, still with margarine smeared around the inside. Leave the containers out and about. The roaches will be attracted to them and won't be able to get out. In the morning, collect your containers and kill the roaches.
Good fun, eh?

The rule with cockroaches is that if you just see one, it's not a big deal. If you see two or more, it's time to call in a professional. I know it's not the answer you wanted to hear, but in my experience as a home owner, it's good to know when to do the job yourself and when to call in a true professional. Like 'Stepherd... said Boric acid at all cracks for the time being, but if they are big southern Palmeto bugs,,, get a exterminator to spray even the trees. these beasts can survive on dinosaur bones and wallboard,glue,paper,insulation,,, etc. BTW, they say that they are very clean but buggy!
Hotshot, arpro and combat put out gels that come with syringes that makes it easier to put it in cracks. The roaches eat this and go back to their nest. They die and the other roaches eat them. There can be 40 dead roaches via one dead roach. This will get rid of the nest. Tree roaches fly, so there are roaches in the trees. Sealing up the crack they are coming in after you kill them would be good. Having some dead roaches for the others to eat would be good.
You need a professional exterminator ... If you have roaches, they are in the whole house .. you just haven't seen them outside of your room .
Put Boric acid in all the edges along the wall,that is their favorite place to travel.Clean up all the food,don't have any open packages left,rinse out cans before you put them in the trash.Take all the garbages out of your house daily.If there is any food anywhere they can get at,they will be back.Cleanliness is the key.
I lived in an apartment complex with thousands of roaches and this is the method I used and didn't have any.
Of course another reason they might of left my apartment is not just cause there was no food but there was someone else with bad cleaning habits nearby and just migrated there.Boric acid works great though,it dehydrates them.Be careful if you have pets and see if it will be ok to use around them I am not sure,but I think Boric acid is relativly harmless.
One more thing if you see an eggsack laying around,(they look almost like a tic tac lol)squish it in some toilet paper and flush it down the toilet,don't let it sit around it will make alot more roaches.

Girls are confusing, and this ones sending mega mixed signals?
Yo, so I鈥檓 good friends with this girl. I鈥檝e known her for a year and hung about with her and her group of friends for 6 months now (I was friendly with the other guys anyway). She really good looking and so nice, so you can imagine how many guys like her, and how many guys try to go with her. So basically, people, I keep getting mixed signals from her. At times I see her glancing towards me but when I look towards her she looks away. I went to a pre-formal with her and the group of mates (its like a big party which happens like 10/12 times through the school year for all peeps in the 2 oldest years), we danced during it, sometimes I went off to dance with other girls, just to say hi etc, however she would always call me back when she saw me with them (she jealous much haha ;D) 鈥?does that mean she likes me? I鈥檓 not sure 鈥? Hence why I post the question! Any time we are in school she would always rub up against me 鈥?eg, she was imitating how this guy was grinding her (yea, i had to take care of him鈥? Martial art style haha), she demonstrated this on me, instead of describing and doing it to one of the guys who she knew for longer... Need less to say I was happy enough haha. There way more stuff like that btw鈥?tis not a one off, and she only does it to me. The next day though she was kinda cold towards me as if I was trying to get into her鈥? And I did nothing of the sort, she invited me to dance with her, she started flirting with me 鈥?if anything I should be cold towards her!
So last night we went to the cinema 鈥?with the group of mates and some other peeps we are friendly with, it was an awesome night and after some of us went to her house for some banter. When we were at her house though things were weird, anytime I tried to spark up convo with everyone she would reply but never too me, always to one of the other dudes. Eye contact was at a minimum and I felt she was really cold towards me. I鈥檓 trying to brush this off that she is too nervous? If she doesn鈥檛 like me, I wont be too bummed, but she seems to think that I am trying to 鈥榞et into鈥?her 鈥?that arrogance and that is pissing me off.
Oh, I texted he this morning and said 鈥榊o r-dawg, tell your mum im sorry about voices last night, its too hard to control this manly voice鈥?haha ojoj鈥? as joke of course (hence the ojoj haha), but she hasn鈥檛 replyed in 2 hours 鈥?shes probably at work though. So was this a bit too strange for her? I don鈥檛 care if we don鈥檛 date; I just wanna be at least good friends with her without her getting uncomfortable.
(of course I can be stupid at times, I would sometimes make the joke about how a guy likes her and make some jokes with a bit off sexual innuendo, which at times doesn鈥檛 go down well with her haha)

Theres this guy friend Im taking to prom and he was acting really weird at our skool dance last nite. He would like come over to my group of friends %26amp; dance with every girl except me. LADIES: How to ask a girl to dance at a club?
Here's the deal: I've done some homework, and apparently girls like to be asked to dance (according to Y!A).
Here's the problem: Whenever I ask a girl they just decline. It's as if chivalry isn't only dead, its been cremated and buried and I've just showed up offering its repulsive remains.
I've gotten used to just going up behind them, at an angle, and subtly let them know I will be dancing behind them, then place my hands on her hips and we keep dancing and enjoy it (usually until she gets tired). This also works in groups, if 3 girls are dancing, my 2 buddies and I will approach simultaneously. Seems to work fine...most of the time.
I have girl friends that let guys dance behind them like this as well. Yet I keep coming across girls who call these guys creepers.
Maybe its a cultural thing depending on location, maybe it's just preference, but the way clubs work here, in Miami, is well...grinding with a stranger.
So ladies, with experience, how do you like to be approached? Do you like to be asked or is okay if a guy suddenly grinds behind you? Both? How do you think the majority of girls feel about it?

If you want a relationship and not just a fling, one should try meeting girls in places other than that. Me, personally, I always look for relationships. Flings just aren't my thing.
