OK ITS TRUE THAT CENA AND BATISTA ARE TWO OF THE WORST CHAMPS AND THEY CANT EVEN COMPARE TO GUYS LIKE BRET HART THE ROCK OR STONE COLD. BUT MY GOD THESE GUYS SHOULD BE ON THE MID CARD,. CENA AND BATISTA ARE PAPER CHAMPS WHICH MEANS VINCE ONLY LETS THEM WIN AND KEEP THE BELTS CAUSE THEY DRAW LITTLE KIDS AND GIRLS TO THE SHOW. WHEN STONE COLD AND THE ROCK WERE IN THE WWE RATINGS AVERAGED A 5.8 WEEKLY. WHEN EDGE WAS CHAMP THE AVERAGED A 4.2 AND NOW WITH CENA AS CHAMP AGAIN UNFORTUNETLY. THE AVERAGE RATINGS ARE 3.3 WEEKLY. THATS ALMOST HALF OF WHAT IT USE TO BE BACK 4 OR 5 YEARS AGO, AT THIS RATE WWE WILL BE GONE IN THE NEXT 5 YEARS, I MEAN HOW DESPERATE ARE THE GETTING CENA IS THE WORST NOW HES FUEDING WITH UMAGA? AND KEVEN FEDERLINE. WHATS NEXT? WWE =WORLDS WORST ENTERTAINER. CENA AND BATISTA KILLED WRESTLING. CENA AND BATISTA FANS ARE SOOOOO STUPID,. THE MOST STUPID PEOPLE ON THE PLANT. I am a girl who watches wrestling, but I have been watching for 28 years now. (When most little girls had Rainbow Bright and Barbie rooms, I fought to have a Hulk Hogan's Rock N Wrestling themed room.) I will tell you that I like the WWF better than the WWE as well. You mentioned the champs, I also like the former champs better. Not only them, but I like the girls who were great without having to wear skimpy clothes and act they way they do. Elisabeth was a natural beauty that didn't have to show it all to be admired.
I will agree the WWE needs to get back to the WWF days and I also agree with you on Cena. As for Batista you did not have any good points besides he is the only one who draws at this time and I think that is caused by the story lines currently running on Smackdown. The King Booker story line is stupid and so is the MVP story line. They need new writers with fresh new ideas more then anything.

but perhaps the Carlito,Jesus\Cena storyline gave Cena a lot of

reaction from the fans and thus became a maineventer.

For Batista he might b better than Cena but at least not good enough to b a World champ.but with so many stars leaving WWE and retiring,they r rising new stars.So WWE is in a tough time.

Agreed. The WWE was lifetimes better during its Attitude Era. However, as for 'bringing it back', the WWE has already tried that, and is failing miserably. It makes itself look like it has the creativity of a Xerox machine by 'bringing' all the things from the Attitude Era back. It should move on into the future, instead of trying to linger around post-Attitude Era. Almost all of their things have gotten stale. Let's see what they've got:



1) A (now stale) version of DX, where they tell penis jokes every week, OR demolish anybody in their path thus making all the wrestlers on Raw seem like jokes, OR both.

2) Brought back the Hardyz.

3) Revived an extremely sad case of McECW for us to watch.



Just because ECW's up and running, and DX is back, McMahon thinks we'll think it's the Attitude Era all over again. Sorry, not going to happen.



And yes, Vanilla Cena and Roid-Tista are two of the worst champions in history. McMahon's lost his creative compass.



I think that McMahon's too focused on inducting new fans into the wrestling industry, that he's forgotten about his longtime fans. You know, the ones who stood by him during the Monday Night Wars? The one that stood by him during the Attitude Era? Since they're new fans, they haven't seen DX in their glory days, or Hardy vs Nitro for the 99th time, or ECW in its prime. They also do not know of people like Austin and the Rock. Thus, they have nothing to compare the present Raw with. In addition, since they're probably inducted from the entertainment industry, they'll be more used to people like Cena, who are more gimmick than wrestler, over people like Angle or Benoit.

they should bring back the F. I have started watching WWE last year, but I agree with you. I searched for WWF matches and it was different. Great wrestlers, great crowd reaction, and I don't care about them Trons or Entrance Themes. That doesn't matter. And there shouldn't be a brand extension.
